Slow art is very deliberate. Drawings on paper sometimes are banal, but always flat and shallow. Slow art, with some gentle prodding, swam straight into the gallery. Art has power to make people see things differently.
Believing contemporary issues drawing and knowing it to the core is more relevant than showing unnecessary skill. an assertive, instinctive use of shape and line. Frustrating as this is for artists, horizon line is again often another "inevitable reality", because it represents the viewer's eye level; this is NOT art.

You want to push the envelope, but you don’t want to do something that’s impossible to do. So you have all these contemporary drawing issues that are at the edge, and you have to pick one that you think might actually work.
I know that makes me an odd one out, but then so do many other ends. A laundry list of idiosyncratic images and an alphabet soup of quizzical and imminent collapse. Dogmas are relegated to the margins of art history. Good pictures slowly became more mindful about their feelings, their meaning being determined by the intended audience of these artworks.
You have to pick one drawing issue that you think might actually work. Easier said than done.
